Originally developed as part of our 2020 Virtual Band Consortium, this Grade 2.5 work is uses the traditional Scottish Song “O Waly, Waly” also known as “The Water is Wide.” The melody is recomposed into various other forms, minor and major, while optional ocean sound effects enhance the dynamic contrast of this dramatic work.
