Originally developed as part of our 2020 Virtual Band Consortium. This work by Ben Hylton is built around the concept of palindromes, phrases that sound the same both backwards and forwards. Have your students try to find the palindromes in their parts or even have them compose some short palindrome melodies. A few phrases Includes some optional “cat” vocals that your students can have fun with!
